Opportunities in Agriculture for the Next Generation

The Yorkshire Agricultural Society invited Richard Wilson to present to students on the "Opportunities in Agriculture", hosted at Askham Bryan College on Wednesday 7th March. Richard, who is responsible for the procurement and facilitation of fresh potatoes in to the packhouse at Dunnington, spoke to two classes of students on how he progressed his career within agriculture and the challenges and opportunities that are often encountered by new entrants in to the industry. A positive take home message of "never underestimating your value" was well received by the 1st and 2nd year Agriculture students.
